Villeneuve Saumur Blanc

Saumur is a pretty Medieval town in the Central Loire Valley. Made with 100% organic Chenin Blanc of which 30% has been barrel fermented. Granny Smith apples and apricot on the nose, with a beautiful minerality thanks to the chalky and sandy limestone “Tuffeau” soils. This wine is hugely popular among staff and customers, it’s been said that “if it isn't Matt's favourite, then it’s at least in his top 3”.
