"I think some of our customers are getting to know my tastes pretty well, so thought I'd choose something brand new on the shelves. It's the "Joven" from Catalunya, a bright and fresh blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan that's produced a little like Beaujolais."
Kirsty has tasted most of her way around the shop but can often we found gravitating towards the Italian red section. Recently she's been enjoying the Northern Greek Malagousia, perhaps chased by one of our local craft beers. Cheers!
Sample Wine List
We always have around 20 wines open to taste or to drink by the glass, including three new wines open every week as part of our Weekly Wine Flights. Alternatively you can pick any of the wines on the shelves or in the fridges to "drink-in" with a small corkage fee.
Cocktails, beers & snacks
We have a selection on wine-based cocktails, a plethora of craft beers in the fridge, including low & no options.
We always have a selection of simple snacks, cheese from Buchanans cheesemongers and Great Glen charcuterie.
Wines by the Glass
We change our still wine list seasonally, balancing out producers that we've known and loved for years - Chateau de Campuget, Saturnino & Gallimard Champagne are permanent fixtures. The list will always include some newer producers, which you'll also find on our weekly "wine flights".
We only ever pick wines that speak of their place of origin, offer something you wouldn't normally drink at home and most importantly leave you fancying a second glass!
