Sobreiro de Pegoes Red

The wines from Santo Isidro de Pegões, on the Península de Setúbal, have consistently impressed us for many years, with the "Sobreiro" range offering especially good value. The Pegões vineyard is located between two nature reserves and its sandy soils and Mediterranean climate produce soft, ripe wines that are also fresh and easy-drinking.

The red is a blend of four grapes (Castelão, Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional). A succulent and vibrant blend with black fruit compote layered with vanilla and spice, and a softness on the palate which is packed with juicy fruit and a smooth finish.
