Simpsons Canterbury Rose

Simpsons Estate, founded by Charles & Ruth, is situated along a ridge if the North Kent Downs (between Folkestone & Canterbury) which is excellent for viticulture.

The English sparkling rose made in the traditional French method and using 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from the Roman Road Vineyard.

Soft rose petal and fresh strawberry notes burst from the glass, followed by wild berry on the palate. There’s a bright, bracing texture to the wine, but thanks to 15 months of ageing on its lees there’s lots of complexity, and developed layers., especially when you let the wine warm up a little in the glass.
