Rocher des Violettes Petillant Originel

A Loire Valley version of Pet Nat (technically “Pét Originel”), but aged a minimum of 28 months in the bottle, with very little intervention whatsoever, without the “dosage” usually associated with the Champagne Method.

The resulting wine is bracingly pure with white fruit on the nose, exceptional texture and depth of flavour, fine bubbles and a fresh, almost chalky finish. A take on the Pet Nat that is always popular, partly thanks to its slightly sweet, honeyed finish.
