Produced from four local selections of Sangiovese and planted at high density on the terraces of the Montalcino hillside, this is an elegant, refined Brunello. The vineyards are farmed organically and the grapes are hand harvested at optimum ripeness and fermented with wild yeasts. The wine is then aged for a minimum of 24 months in French oak barrels. The result is a sumptously balanced wine with tasting notes of sour cherry and pot-purri, where the floral characters mesh with fine, supportive tannins and bright acidity.
