From a family winery spanning three generations, this wine is from the North-West of the island, with Vermentino planted facing the ocean to retain freshness and an almost salty texture in the wine. Vermentino from Sardinia always has a very distintice style (to me, at least!) – a tropical, herbal, with an almost almond texture / bitterness.
