Brothers Joan and Josep Anguera are the 7th generation of winemakers - who have created their own style of elegant, biodynamic wines that really reflect the local terroir. Montsant is a region near the famous Priorat, but makes slightly lighter, more approachable wines, in part thanks to the sandier, softer soils. “Les Maiols” refers to the small, younger bush vines that are planted.
Wild strawberries, red cherries, Mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary), subtle floral notes (rose, lavender), and a hint of chalky minerality.
