Grown at around 400-700m altitude in the volcanic foothills of Mount Fuji. The Koshu grape was brought to Japan in the late 1800s and Grace Winery were one of the earliest producers in the region.
Ayana has brought winemaking experience and techniques from France and was the first (or maybe second) female winemaker in Japan.
