Éric gave up his career as a nuclear engineer in 1992, becoming fascinated with the tiny (and almost forgotten) appellations of Brézème and Ouvèze, in the Northern Rhône and Ardèche. Eric has worked organically since the start, harvesting by hand, fermenting with natural yeasts and ageing in concrete for 12-18 months, unfined, unfiltered and bottled with only the smallest amount of sulphur. This “crazy cat” is a blend of red and white grapes producing a joyfully bright wine, with crunchy red fruit and a beautiful texture.
