Made from the Alvarinho grape and within the Vinho Verde region of Portugal, most people expect this to be a simple, easy-drinking, spritzy style. This is a whole different style - the grapes are aged for two weeks in a rotating tank, extracting all the aromatics. The wine has a slightly tropical, appley feel, with a touch of savouriy bitterness on the finish. Very low levels of sulphur, organic, vegetarian and vegan.
