Domaine Lafage is run by partners Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage who have made wine all over the world, including South Africa, Chile and Australia. The Domaine is situated on the crossroads of Catalan identity, just a few kms from the border between Spanish Catalonia and French Côtes Catalanes. The climate is Mediterranean with cooling breezes from the Pyrenees, with old “centenaires” vines grown on sandy, gravelly soils.
The result is a ripe, tropical, herbal style, with a broad, rich style thanks to ageing in oak. Terrific value for a white with such complexity and richness.
