From the far North, grown in the acidic, mineral-rich, sandy red soils, at an altitude of 350m, which results in wines of freshness and lower alcohol. Fresh and floral on the nose, bright red fruit, a touch of spice, white pepper and a juicy finish. Very moreish with softer tannins and a lighter body than Nebbiolos from further south. A “must-try” wine for anyone that enjoys lighter reds.
