Pillot Pommard Tavannes 2021

Laurent Pillot continues a rich history of wine production in Chassagne Montrachet, believing in small yields and an intensive style of viticulture, farming around 80% organic.

For me, Pommard still offers value in a region where wines are becoming increasingly sought after. The "Tavannes" has more weight than most red Burgundy, yet with a smooth mouthfeel, cherry, blackberry, spice and a touch of fresh tannin.
