La Purisima Monastrell

The wines from Bodegas Purisima have become instant customer and staff hits, thanks to their instense fruit and full-bodied, texture. Located in the DO of Yecla in Eastern Spain on the Murcia Plateau, at around 700m altitude, they're based in a state-of-the-art winery and the wines really pack a wpunch for their price.

This Monastrell (also known as Mourvèdre) is from old bush vines and has blackberry, dark fruits and a long velvety finish.
