Brookdale Mason Road Chenin Blanc

Brookdale Estate is set against the dramatic Klein Drakenstein mountains, overgrown until they took over in 2015, with winemaker Kiara Scott now producing distinctive Mediterranean style wines. Paarl is a warmer region, but the Chenin Blanc is planted at slightly cooler, higher altitude and picked in four batches to retain its freshness. Think tropical fruits, apple, pear and a salty minerality.
