Akriotou Savatiano Orivatis

A one-woman business run by winemaker Vassiliki Akriotou, the vineyards are located on the snow-capped mountains some 300m above sea level and inspires the name "Orivatis", which means "Mountaineer". The grapes are grown on 45 year old vines and the fruit is strictly selected, destemmed and crushed with skin contact lasting six hours and rested on fine lees.

The result is a complex and aromatic bouquet of ripe peach, quince, creamy vanilla and an intriguing hint of Turkish delight. Dry with perfectly balanced freshness, intense notes of grapefruit, pepper, ginger and wild mint lead to a long and spicy finish.
